Canbuses are not needed at all time, however, if any of the following occur, they should be used when changing your high beam to LED lights:

-If the bulb blinks or flickers

-if there are radio interference

-if there is a error message from the on-board computer which reports, for example, that there is no light connected or that the light is burnt.
